Letter to my Country men and women Dear Country Men and Women, Never be fooled by movement of politicians from one party to another; they are not jostling for you they are simply jostling for what they would use to line their pockets! Nothing more! Also don’t forget that actual card carrying members of PDP and APC nation wide are less than 6 million! Don’t mind their propaganda that they have several millions of members! In order word the power to determine who is who is not in the members of any of the political parties it lies with you! Don’t make any mistake of this. On one hand when APC says they are going to ‘wipe out corruption’ you wonder who is the corrupt when same APC field people like IBB that up till today he has refused to account to us what happened to the $12 billion gulf war oil money wind-fall! Senator Bola Ahmed Tinumbu that is believed to own intercontinental hotel that the foundation alone cost a billion Naira and the 25 storey all glass edifice may cost close to 200 billion Naira, he is also believed to own Shoprite that is worth over 300 billion Naira , intercontinental TV , Renaissance Hotel just to mention a few. In the order words if all the Senator has interest in are added up you may be guessing up to perhaps a trillion Naira! Look at this analysis if whilst his Excellency Bola Tinubu was governor of Lagos state and he chose to pay himself N500 million per month as scandalous as that amount is he would have only earned just N48 billion Naira! Now you may wonder how come he owns all that is believed that he owned! Gen Obasonjo’s library in one of his schools is believed to worth over N6 billion Naira! Gen Buhari himself has not told us the any reasonable thing about the $3 billion PTF fund! Atiku Abubaka has also not said much about how he got stupendously wealthy that he even owns a university! I am sure you have not forgotten the Harri Button, Siemens and other high profile international corruption cases and the people involved! So how can these men congregating together now claim they are angelic champion of fighting corruption an intelligent mind may question! When some politicians left PDP to the opposition they said that the reason was that Jonathan signed for only a term and now attempting for a second term! Any person that have his brain where it is supposed to be knows that that reason is only good for monkeys! I may be bold to say that perhaps Jonathan realized that you may need a magnifying glass to be able to pick out who is not corrupt in Nigeria and so instead of fighting it and grind the system to a halt as it happened to Gen Buhari he chose to make it impossible for people to carry out new corrupting in certain sectors of the economy for a start. Example the cabals in PDP that was in charge of perpetual fertilizer scam were downloaded by registering the farmers and send fertilizer to them directly! You recall what these scammers do before were to collect the subsidy the farmers were to enjoy and still add a juicy mark-up to swell their pockets! That some times was not enough for them even some time mix the NPK fertilizer with sand and still sell it well above subsidized price! The cabals in charge of perpetual money apparently meant for rail because even though train stopped running in late eighties yet year in year out whether civilian or military keep allocating money to rail! President Jonathan had thrown those groups out in the cold and fixed the rail and not just that flood the lines with brand new modern state-of-art trains! The cabals in PDP that milk us year in year out by ensuring that shoddy jobs are done on our loads so that each year they same road would be awarded over and over have been shown the door out! You recall for eight years of Gen. Obasojo Lagos Ibadan/ Benin high way was in perpetual construction year after year and yet people spend days on the road while travelling! The cabals manipulating petroleum product importation storage and distribution has been dealt a devastating blow that you may have noticed that you hardly see fuel line up during festivals; the PDP cabals and other in charge of the outrageous wheat importation with cassava flour are at a loss how to keep earning the kind of money they were making before! So if one says that perhaps the real reasons why those characters left PDP and are seeking all means available to kick Jonathan out so that they can continue with their looting that they don’t mind to pitch tent even with Lucifer all that matters is that Jonathan who deprived them of means of drying our treasury should go! Having said these I have to say that it is worrisome that corruption is tearing our treasury to tatters, though I might want to buy President Jonathan’s strategy but more than that the citizens must do something t make it difficult for this bunch of Nigeria politician to loot our treasury. The question is how can we achieve this? It is with your vote! It is power! Do you know why it is easy for corruption to take place without mush stress? It is because we have been stupid to allow one party to control the executive as well as the legislature! If really we are serious of repairing our battered country irrespective of who is there we must ensure that on no account should one party be in control of the executive and legislature! What I mean is where PDP wins the executive APC should be in control of the legislature and where APC is in control of Executive PDP should control the legislature! When this is done both the legislature and executive would sit down to work now that there is no hiding place for any one! With this the development we have in the next four years would triple what we had done in the last ten years! First thing first take out time and make sure you secure your voter’s card PVC Now! Market Fires in Lagos and Survival of Igbos Though the Igbos had been and are still the lubricant for Nigeria economy, the prize for this is rather too much when you take everything into consideration. Who can count the number of times goods and merchandize belonging to Igbos in markets across the country were consumed by fires set up wicked and questionable means even sometimes remotely by some government agents. When these happen it is often difficult to prove without doubt that indeed it was miscreants mobilized by some unscrupulous government agents that are responsible! Lagos in very recent time has indeed become very notorious and the Igbos and Igbo traders in particular have been constantly fed with law deals. You recall when Gov. Fashola started his ‘Eko ni baje’ he and his agents single handedly branded the Igbos as responsible for the way Lagos was looking. From time to time then his agents while demolishing shops of Igbos across the entire states simultaneously would ask if the Igbos could try what they tried in Lagos at Onitsha Bridge! Even the governor was quoted as saying that any one who is not ready to comply with his directives on environment should come and collect an amount from him to enter luxury bus and leave and before he leaves he would be photographed so that if he ever comes back he should be thrown out of Lagos. You have also not forgotten so fast that while Igbo places of businesses were simultaneously being destroyed across the Lagos state same traders werse also arrested and tax of tree years were demanded from traders whose shops were demolished and where you were unable to get the tax you are tried by kangaroo mobile court and sent to jail. I am sure that you have also not forgotten a batch of such jailed Igbos who had just finished serving about four years jail term and Gov. Fashola fearing that media may pick the story and that would be bad for APC, branded the released prisoners street beggars and bundled all of them over night and dumped them at his much refereed to target, Onitsha Bridge! There is information going around that Lagos government has legislated that any property that gets burnt automatically becomes property of Lagos state government even though the Lagos state government had issued previously an CofO for that property! I don’t want to believe that this is true; however you recall that all of a sudden in one night the Tejuosho market was set ablaze and instantly Fashola and his political father, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other stepped in and took away the property . After taking several years to put in place what ever they had in their plan they now sell a shop for nearly N2 million! Now it is Balogun Market, we are hoping that once again the Governor would not step in to seize landed properties belonging to Igbos and then build it up and start selling same shops at an amount that he had pre-determined. Most likely that is what is going to happen! The question is what does the government of Lagos have in mind for coming up with the wicked, devious and criminal property law and can you really rule out that based on this law there is a remote possibility that the government could possibly send agents to set any market they are targeting on fire to be able to take it over! Come to think of it, why is it that it is always from 3 to 4 am in the Night that the fires always start!? In the day time when traders are around with a lot of activities and even use of electricity there won’t be fire but when they are gone shot down electric supply that is when fire would gut the market! It is irritating to me that a market where Igbos is 90% in majority an ‘indigene’ would come there and lord it over you! For what reason should this ever happen!? Who the bloody hell is the so called indigene!? The Igbos must stop this crazy aberration and show of uncommon cowardice! I charge you to establish authority in any market you have numerical preponderance within and without Nigeria and not only that use that as a negotiation tool to deal with the governments of those states or even countries. In addition the Igbos must realize that the world is a global village and as such any where you are and have the capacity to do something political; don’t waste time to do something! Finally Igbo traders must organize the day and Night securities in all markets they operate even when the government of that state or country has provided something. The two securities must work together in order to ensure the protection of your wealth and where possible send message of a kind to hostile governments that might want to mess up with your means of livelihood. You recall these four men, the four musketeers, they have been together and their aim was just one thing to truncate the nation’s democratic journey and then lord it over us one after the other. You recall the overthrow of Alh shehu Shagari? Then Gen Sani Abacha and Gen Babangida played “John the Baptist” for Gen Buhari and his friend gen. Tuned Idiagbon. One announced the over throw of Alh. Shehu shagari and the other announced the lead team of the five man group! Recall a year and half later probably because of clash of interest, you probably recall the Gloria Okon saga and Dele Giwa’s assacination, well this time around the musketeer’s lead team must come down for the other to continue but most importantly for the others to run their own time. This time around same gen sani Abacha joined by Gen Dogonyalo played “John the Baptist” for Gen Babangida; popularly known better as ‘Maradona’. That guy took away additional eight to nine years out of the nations time for military authoritarianism, extending the cheat on democracy. About nine years after you recall that the Maradona eventually scored in his own goal post! Though if you look art it carefully it may be deliberate to enable the last of the five man Musketeer to also lord it over the nation. You recall that when demonstrators blocked major high ways ib Lagos it was gen Sanni abacha that mobilized soldiers to ‘clear’ Ikorodu Road and third main land bridge of demonstrators i said cleared you know what that meant, limbs and bones were treated with the most disdain and thousands of people were mowed down and buried in secrete mass graves. Some people belived that Gen Babangida was going to hand over government to Moshud abiola but they were believing so on total ignorance because how could gen babangida hand over to anyone while the last of the top four had not had his turn! Handing over to Shenekan was all a grand strategy to enable Gen. Sani Abcha get into office. It couldn’t have been any other way. So eventually gen Abach eased the illegal contraption called interim government and took away another six years out of the nation’s time completing the circle of quest for power by desperate military officers and to show how desperate and greedy the four men are they are all still clamouring to come back to continue their ruler ship! While the four men were lording it over the country one after the other; they didn’t realize then that blood was also running in the veins of southerners. In fact if Gen Sani Abacha did not die in office he would have perhaps ensured that his brother Gen Dogoyaro also steps into Aso rock to complete the circle of band of wise men from the North! However that did not stop the four men from taking out 16 years out the nation’s life! People who should know have it that the main reason in addition to others why Gen Buhari was pushed out of office was because the other arm of the wise men from the North felt that Tunde Idiagbo was taking the shine out of General Buhari; what is more in recent time even Buhari himself is quoted as saying that he knew a coup was going on! Now picture a head of state and knew that a coup was going on and yet did not border to take steps to quash the insurgent junta. One can only read this to mean he was in support of coup against himself if only the ranting Gen. Tuned Idiagbon were to be cut to size! If this inference is correct it means adds more support that the four Northern Generals were acting in concert! Period! For those who have eyes to see the main reason why the so called Abacha’s constitutional conference took place was the palpable alarm created by the surprising victory of Chief Moshod Abiola in the botched Babangida election. Simply the four generals from the North did not think it right that a southerner should step into Aso Rock at that time not when the wise men had not done their circle. You recall that in the past when ever states were created it was equal for both North and South but you recall it was the Marodona himself, Gen. Babngida that started allocating more states to the North though not too sure if it was him that after carving out a state out of a former Northern state that had the same population with Lagos had each of the two new states carved out of the original states have more local governments than Lagos state! What a ‘patriotic’ move ! However while more states and more Local governments gave the North huge advantage in revenue formula the Northern aristocrats were not aware that finally the loose bond holding the North has been perpetually broken! After Abiola’s victory , Gen Abacha stepped in to make an ’amendment’ that was how the new six geo polities were the main thing done at that crazy 1999 conference which is still our constitution! Gen. Abacha felt it was easier to control and bond with three geo polities than 19 states! However he was chasing shadows the only way he could get close to what he envisaged was only and only to collapse the 19 Northern states but he dare not try that he would face a disater beyond what his General title could carry so he could only make do with the loose six geo polity! In summary these four General , Gen Buhari, Gen Babangida, Gen Sani Abacha and Gen. Dogonyaro were acting cunningly to ensure the continued domination by the North and would have even continued if not for the untimely death of Gen. Abacha! Now back to Gen Buhari considering his utterances and actions the only thing that will make him really happy is when his Fulani brothers would roam with their cattle all the way from Niger to creeks of Beylsa state rampaging farm lands without anyone daring to question them or face rape and murder in addition to rampaged farm lands if you consider the Generals utterances when the Fulanis were confronted some where in the South west. So people who are saying that the General is coming to track corruptions are just kidding, the south west politician that configured his has a hotel that the foundation alone cost N1 billion! Towering at 25 or more floors with fittings accessories and others perhaps the hotel cost over N100 billion! Could it have been the salaries the South west politician earned as governor that built that hotel!? Certainly not! So is general Buhari going to start his corruption campaign from the man that configured him!? I don’t think so besides this is a democracy; Gen Buhari cannot try corrupt Nigerians outside the law made by the national assembly and is the General completely an angel!? Don’t get me wrong while it is our desire that anyone caught in corruption be dealt with Gen Buhari can only deal with corruption according to the laws of the land this is not a military totalitarian rule! Muhammad Buhari While it is a fact that General Buhari just like other Nigerians is qualified to vie for he highest post in the land; please take time to have a look at these before you take your leap. Can you really say without contradiction that Gen. Buhari is not a religious fanatic? Your answer can be yes or no but consider this his few actions and then make up your mind where you fix the general: -Within the sixteen months of his taking charge of the nation he and his friend Gen. Tunde Idiagbion registered Nigeria in organization of Islamic conference, OIC. Gen. Buhari was and is always running a Muslim/Muslim ticket! A Himself and Gen Tunde Idiagbon B Himself and Pst Tunde Bakari (Tunde Bakari was a staunch Muslim before he turned a pastor since no one can question him as regard the dictates of his heart and it is only him and God that knows the content of his heart. So what would you do if he tomorrow announces he is no a Muslim. There is nothing any one can do about it. So at best Pst. Tunde Bakari was a half Christian and half Muslim! C General Buhari s also believed to be seriously considering with Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinumbu who is also a Muslim. This is not surprising because for this single fact some persons left APC for PDP! -Can you say without contradictions that General Buhari can be 100% exonerated of the activities of the Boko Haram sect who them selves are die-hard fanatics? Again do not say yes or no please consider this: - “Attacks on Boko Haram is attacks on the North” Gen. Buhari is believed to have made this statement and yet BOko Haram on almost daily basis send to untimely grave thousand of Nigeria. Do you not wonder why the General just recently uttered some possible deceitful sound-bite, “I will ‘crush ’ Boko Haram when I step into office” General Buhari is either being cunning and highly conservative with truth of the content of his heart or probably like Herr Hitler and his SA storm trouper . Since it is obvious that Boko Haram is out of control of those that created and promoted it the Gen. Understands that the only way he could have a smooth time that is if he is lucky of stepping into Aso Rock is to wipe out Boko Haram that is after probably giving them a moral support to possible enable them to hoodwink President Jonathan out of Aso Rock by his unguarded utterances at the very least. - Did Gen. Buhari really contribute anything significant within the 16 or so months he lorded over the nation Well the only two things that anyone could remember as ‘achievements’ for Gen Buhari within the 16 months were: He used the military to whip people to stay on line to do thing. He arrested, ‘corrupt’ politicians and throw them into jail and immediately he was swept aside the politicians were released and their properties restored but note that the main Politician that should have been the first to have been arrested, Alh. Shehu Shagari was either not arrested or brief arrest and was instantly released. You can guess why the General did that.. Apart from all this what other monumental thing was achieved by Gen. Buhari with the enormous resources available to him in addition to cash he recovered from so called ‘corrupt’ politicians!? Be honest can you remember any thing he did that changed the lives of Nigerians within the 16 months? I can guess the answer. Finally was General Buhari a fair minded leader that ensured equity and fairness to all? Don’t say yes or no . Just consider this: Gen. Buhari among other Nigeria leader was the one that paid the least amount of resource control money to the Niger Deltans about 1.5% to 2.5% despite his being aware of the grave environmental disaster in that region caused by oil exploration. Gen Buhari and His Comic Antics

Gen Muhamadu Buhari_ I will build three refineries in Port Harcourt, Wari and Kaduna as well as wipe out insurgency! If you know General Buhari very well you may wonder what he really meant by that dry and empty sound-bite. General Buhari was Nigeria head of state for nearly two years and as at then most of our refineries were operating at less than 50% capacity, the question is: What did General Buhari do then, was he even able to fix the ailing refineries!? The answer was no and is still no. So if he did not fix any of the refineries would you have expected him to build a new one? Of course you and I know that Gen. Buhari did not build even a single refinery during that period! He didn’t even start to build any. So one wonders whether he has not got more mature and realized that he should have built refineries when he was head of state. Now let’s have a look at where the general says he will build his refineries- Portharcourt, Warri and Kaduna! It appears that the General does not know anything about the six geo-polity the nation has. If crude oil pipeline can take clued to Kaduna it means it can take it to Gombe or Katsina. So ,why should the General still be thinking of repeating what we have long had that is not working well for the nation? Initial conclusion is that the General was just trying to see if he could play on the intelligence of the south south having been worried by perpetual guilty conscience that he was the head of state that gave the very least to the south south as regard their status as housing the oil that drives the nation. Perhaps he thought the people would forget and forgive so soon! Our General is also adding his voice to the insurgency ravaging the North East. You can imagine that! Our General says he would wipe that out of course you can add up what that meant and how he can do that quickly. This is General Buhari that clearly stated the attacks on Boko Haram were attacks on the North and his statements against President Jonathan when he lost in the election both contested when fully digested may tell you exactly what Boko Haram is all about ; Only for the General to have the gut now to use wiping off of Boko Haram as a campaign issue. Well it is only him that understands the game he is up to but I personally think that Nigerians are not all stupid and amnesiac as some of the few who have the opportunity of lording it over us thought.

The President should be very careful taking the bait being flaunted by the national assembly members to rely on the armed forces act to continue deployment of soldiers in the troubled North East without the approval of the vital state of emergency. Be aware that for instance that the responses and body language of Northern elders and institutions are not helpful in fact one may say that their responses are treacherous. You really have to be careful dealing with this bunch of crazy persons and institutions. For instance one would wonder what the Sultan of Sokoto was up to by saying that why there was bomb blast in Kano Mosque was to stampede the Northern politicians elders and institutions to permit the President to get approval extension of state of emergency! What is the Sultan of Sokoto saying? Is he saying that the Presidency would send Boko Haram members to go and kill scores of people to kill innocent northerners just to make the North to ask of state of emergency and lets assume Boko haram did that; the question is would book haram conspire against itself by ensuring a state of emergency aginst itself!? Or was the Sultan of Sokoto saying that president Jonathan sent terrorists to go and kill people in kano Mosque to enable his secure a state OF EMMERGENCY!? These are contradictory and unthinkable assertions. Does this mean then that on one hand the Sultan wants the carnage in the north and on the other he does not want the President to stop their dear Boko Haram! Probably, secretly the powers that be in the North apart from using Boko Haram to unseat President Jonathan are also using the Boko haram to do a religious cleansing in the North! Now if the president takes the crazy bait being offered by the national assembly and something goes wrong as things are bound to go bad as hubris law loudly states; there would be consequences both on the military and particularly on the President. The President should also be mindful that perhaps some elements in the North are planning to use the present scenario to drive the security situation vis avis the 2015 election to the ultimate point of asking for a transitional government! Because where the security situation gets out of control to the extent that elections in a large number of states becomes impossible as a result of insurgency and sporadic bomb blasts, prison breaks kidnappings and murders in different parts of Nigeria and the term of President Jonathan runs out then there won’t be any other alternative than a transitional government! In that case what the North had long wanted through the door would be most conveniently secured through the back door! The President should be very careful to trade these land mines! Finally I want to warn the President to do all he can to contain the insurgents and since some bunch of terrible Nigerians are bent on using the insurgency to drive him out of office he se should expect the frequency and intensity of insurgent activities to rise proportionately as 2015 draws near. The President should in fact must put all the necessary measures to contain the insurgents and I advice stiff usage of military air planes to deliver devastating air strikes since the air force still have 100% of the nation’s air spade except what the insurgents could do with anti air craft. Does President Jonathan Really Need To Beg Northern Senators to Approve Emergency Rule in the North EaSt!? It is only the Northerners that understand what they are up to about the insurgency going on in the North East! In other words it is only the North and their supporters from the South that understand the game going on about the thousands of lives being wasted in the North in particular and Nigeria in general! First, Gen. Muhamadu Buhari described the effort of Mr. President to quell the insurgent as an attack on the North! Second AREWA Consultative forum nearly dragged former Chief of Army Staff to war crime court because of his dogged effort to push Boko haram out of the North! Northern Senators and House members are now refusing or obstinate in approving President Jonathan’s request for extension of State of emergency! Emir of Kanu, Lamido Sanusi Lamido is warning President Jonathan to be sincere in fight against Boko Haram! Northern governors are calling on the President to declare total war on Boko Haram! It is either that the leaders of the North are damn crazy or are involved in a crazy game only a super genius can understand! I wonder if President Jonathan can decode this mine field the North is creating because I for one I am at a loss how the President could deal with the North. On one hand the North does not want the insurgency to ever end, what they would get out of that I do not know but one can guess that probably the Northern Muslims wants the North secretly to be Islamized hence talking from both sides of their mouth! On the other hand the North poses as if they want the President to stop fellow Northerners from slitting the throats of fellow Northerners and others as well as busting of pregnant Northern women’s stomach and that of others! My advice to the President is that he should do as much as he can not only to get the Northern wet ropes to approve an extension of the emergency rule but also to get approval to declare total war on Boko haram that would enable the President to employ the full weight of the Nigeria military to wash away the crazy lunatics called Boko Haram! Where the Norther elements frustrate this effort then the President should not hesitate to pull out the Nigeria military out of the North East but must cordon off the entire North East with a ring of the Nigeria army backed by the full might of the air face and all our surveillance installations! With this since the North East wants a self decimation let them have it. I am damn sure that when they are tired of killing one another they would once more call on the President for help! Perhaps by that time the Senate and the house of representative would be in perpetual hurry to approve what ever the President wants! Ighwegbe Lawrence emeka
