Bola Ige was murdered in cold blood at his home by probably the powers that be in Yoruba Land to enable the son of the soil Gen. Obasojo to be able to secure a home base support whilst the President of Nigeria realizing that Obasonjo had no chance what so ever to make any kind of in-rod into the south West whilst chief bola ige holds sway? You also recall the ground shaking testimony by one Mr Flayoo to the prolific lawyer, Mr. Festus Keyamu stating the lurid details of all Yoruba leaders that had their hands soiled with the blood of Chief Bola Ige? You may perhaps recall it was Professor Wole Soyinka that came out to discredit both Keyamu and his kinsman Mr. Frayo most obviously to save the heads of the Yoruba king pins who were mortally indicted by Mr. Frayo’s Testimony and thereby effectly killed that case? That was Professor Soyinka for you! Now be the judge: Since His Excellency Chibuike Amechi started to work openly against the President of the South South extraction, President Jonathan, have you noticed how often Professor Soyinka has come out openly in support of Chibuike Amech to ensure that Gov. Chibuike Amech succeeds in bringing down President Jonathan no matter what? Even in the so called cerebration of Port Harcourt being the books capital of the Universe, you may have noticed the sarcasm in Professor Soyinka’s words when he had anything to refer to President Jonathan. However when it was his town’s man the Son of the soil Gen. Obasonjo he was quite quick to ensure that nothing happens to him despite grave circumstances that cost the blood of one of the strongest man in Yoruba politics! However for other places it is Professor Soyinka’s preoccupation to ensure that such a president goes down or ridiculed! That is Professor Soyinka for you judge where you place him. I also want to tell Professor Soyinka that I and a lot of other concerned citizens are watching his rather unbecoming antics with keen interest and he should watch it. One would have expected that a man of towering intellect and age should be a little bit above board and if he doesn’t want to get himself messed up he should stay clear of politics and rather concentrate in inspiring the youths of Nigeria to a new height of intellectual pursuit. As per Gov. Chibuike Amech we will shortly find out how successful he would go in persuading South-South citizens to abandon President Jonathan and to vote for who!? For people like Obii Ezekwesili that address Gov. Chibuike Ameci as ‘president’ Rotimi Amech, apparently mistaken, but I advice her to be watchful of what she says. Well what people like Gov. Amechi has been doing in the South south has been to ensure that no one from the region ever get to the presidency. Once a man of quality credentials comes out from the region some rascals would go to one or two Emirs in the North and they give them some useless chieftaincy titles bingo they would roll out a campaign against the quality candidate and the Northern power broker would smile and present one candidate support him get the vote of the North and share the votes of the South South and South west and that of south East and slips into the presidency! Yes the thing the South South people were doing was also what the South East was constantly guilty of until lately. Come to think of it the so called ”born to rule” what really did they do to the country, they impoverished the whole country including their own northern brother. It is pretty obvious that if the circumstance that brought President Jonathan to power did not happen even in the next 50 years it is most unlikely any one from the South South or South East would ever smell Aso rock because of the crazy show of ruinous stupidity! Ibadan Ritual Dane of Horror and others- Decline in Rugged and Confrontational Christian Evangelization? Apparently the two topics don’t seem to have any kind of convergence but be patient and read through. Inhumanity, violence and horror against one is violence, inhumanity and horror against all! The victims of Ibadan horror dane and the now forgotten Clifford Orji could have been any of the Christians moving around now! Personally I recall a horrifying incident somewhere at Iyana ipaja in the year 2003 when one of my co-tenants; a very good Christian was to visit Ibadan, his home town, only for a day after for the wife to be called that the husband was yet to reach Ibadan! The family mounted a franctic search but your guess is correct till today nobody has heard anymore thing about the fine young man leaving four little kids and the hapless wife in perpetual grief and misery! That was not my first personal experience but it was the closest to someone I know. First close intimation with reality of some devious rascals killing innocent citizens was that of the mother of one of my clients who worked with an American company at Ilupeju area of Lagos; the aged mother at 65 was coming home from church and was abducted by ritualists somewhere near Fadiyi area of Lagos like the one I narrated earlier my friend and other members of the family mounted an intense search; reported to Police and a whole lot of other measures but till today no one has heard about the where about of the woman nor even her corpse could be found! From time to time people who for one reason or the other were coming back late has lost their live to devious rascals because one community or the other is doing one archaic devilish ceremony or the other. Their modus operand is to announce in the day time that no one should come out from midnight because of cerebration of certain wicked traditional ceremony that requires yearly human sacrifice or even sacrifices! Don’t make any mistake about it year in year out those communities within and without Nigeria that indulge in this devious sacrifices on yearly basis send Nigeria citizen to early grave spreading misery and anguish to the loved ones of their victims. Now the question is are Christians living in those communities? The answer is capital YES!? In fact the Christians would also run and reach their houses before mid night and would even be panting in their rooms! Why should this be!? The job of the Christian is to bring light to darkness and to confront evil where ever it is found! That was indeed what the earlier apostles of Jesus Christ were doing. No wonder over 90% of the apostles where violently killed but they did to a large extent brought light to the dark earth even before they were killed! But today Christians are quite different, everyone wants a large congregation so if you are catholic you want to reconvert the Pentecostal to repent while the Pentecostal would want to reconvert an Anglican to repent and be born again! Yet the main task of throwing light into darkness is continently avoided by all because no one wants to put his or her life in line in other to make the world a safer and better place. What counts to most men and women of God these days is how rich they are! In some church it is believed that if you are not rich then you sure don’t know the God you are serving! I simply don’t know whose footstep this teaching is following. Nobody would believe that 2000 years after the coming of our Lord Jesus that Kings or Chiefs would die and announcements would be made throughout the town that no one is to come out from mid night and promptly anyone caught in the night in that locality would be buried with the devious King or Chief sometimes alive and yet Christians live in those town and they also run into their rooms and be frightened sometimes they may even hear the anguished cry of victims and yet they fail to speak out against this evil manifestations let alone putting on the cloak of war to fight this encroachment of darkness on all! Even in big cities like Lagos, Benin, port Harcourt , Kano sometimes a certain market leader may die and announcement made in the market that no one is expected to pass through the market from 11.00pm and promptly anyone they caught from that time would be used to bury the dead market leader! Once again several thousand of Christians buying and selling in those markets witness this and they have never thought of speaking out against this inhuman horror being dished out to fellow unfortunate citizens even the Christians are damn afraid and comply with the directive of these devious rascals and no Christians have taken time to put up some muscle to challenge the unjust horror being dished out to fellow humans and sometime if not most time fellow Christians! Yet what we concentrate in doing is to preach to fellow harmless Christian to repent and be born again by identifying with the living church yet the hardened devious killers we are damn afraid of confronting them! This got to stop! It is time for all Christians to know that our major responsibility is to bring light to where there is darkness and this requires courage because it is a very risky venture but that is the only thing capable of making our world a safer and better place. It is a war that we must fight. It was the war the earlier Christians fourth that helped to make our world a bit safer and we simply can’t run away from it except we have became cowards despite being backed by our Lord Jesus! We have to confront Kings Chiefs community heads on all devious practices and damn the consequences or else we too could become victim or someone we know would one day be victim! Don’t ever have the illusion that Clifford Orji and Ibadan ritual danes are the only human slaughter covens in Nigeria. There may be well over fifty such danes of varing sizes across the nation! It is time the few powerful men and women of God should hold fasting and prayer session perhaps with their congregations for God to expose all the ritual danes in the country and get them destroyed! I am sure that such a move would draw God’s attention to the activities of these evil men and women across the nation. The Christians must not behave like the police that would run away if they hear that a community was about to do some rituals! When a community is believed to be planning on human sacrifice men and women of God should converge in that city or community to confront such community leaders and get such a wicked practice to an end and I mean at all cost. This can only make our world safer and better. There is another place the Christians should beam their light, we all were appalled at the whites coming here to enslave us but how do you describe in modern day Nigeria where a citizen would set up a baby factory and a mother would sell her own child without any kind of remorse! A mother would sell her child the first time give birth to another sell him yet another one and sell and the owner of the baby factory perhaps come to church and even ,may be receiving Holy Communion and he or she does not have any remorse and of the knowledge that she is actually a middle man in modern day slavery and who know some of the children sold may even actually be sold to ritualistic individuals that would kill those babies for ritual purpose! Tales abound of some devious Nigerians that buy or steal small children pound down in mortar and mix it with charms provided by their devilish herbalist and be robbing the cruel concoction as pomade and would be looking like a twenty years man even when they are over eighty! Tales abound of some cruel devilish politicians that their demonic godfathers would tell that for them to win elections in their state or constituency they should provide a bus load of human sacrifice and they go about, send out their human hunters with charms to get exactly what their demonic godfathers have asked of! The Christians must have our eyes and ears wide open to confront evil practices like this . Remember that if we do not throw light into the darkness it may actually engulf all! Evil thrive when good men and women fail to act! Finally we all want the government and of course the governor of Oyo state to not sweep this cruel and creepy horror under the carpet as usual since the Governor has come out openly to say that nither he nor his government is aware of the existence of this cruel dane or any danes for that matter however the salt in this denial would be proved if all the perpetrators of this inhuman , devious and cruel acts are brought to justice within the shortest possible time. We also urge the Nigeria press to live up to their billing by beaming the search light on the horror until all persons involved on this inhuman cruelties are grabbed by the long arms of the law!
